RALLY TO STOP “FOUNTAIN-JAM”
LOCATION
Rally will begin at the corner of Fountain Ave. and Crescent Heights.
We will then proceed West on Fountain Ave., then South on Sweetzer Ave., ending at City Hall.
Join WeHo for the People, West Hollywood’s largest coalition of community and business groups, as we come together for a community walk to protest the City Council’s plan to permanently remove two lanes of traffic and eliminate 150 resident parking spaces to install bike lanes on Fountain Avenue—one of the city’s most heavily traveled streets. This unsafe project, dubbed “Fountain-Jam” by residents, raises serious concerns for public safety and the future of our city’s infrastructure.
Despite overwhelming opposition, the City continues to push forward with this project without adequately consulting the people of West Hollywood or engaging with Public Safety officials. Streets need to remain accessible for emergency vehicles to save lives, and the proposed changes will create unnecessary hazards for our community.
We need your voice! Join us in sending a clear message:
NO BIKE LANES ON FOUNTAIN!
